Life Center Ethiopia’s founder, Mulu, returned to Ethiopia after 15 years, driven by a deep sense of responsibility to help those in poverty. Having fought as a guerrilla and served as a political leader, she later fled to Kenya with her children after her husband’s imprisonment. There, she became a follower of Jesus, and her purpose to serve the poor was reignited. In 2013, she founded Life Center Ethiopia to support orphans and widows, fulfilling her life’s calling to help the vulnerable.
Life Center Ethiopia helped 10 orphans start a t-shirt printing business after providing design training and skill development. With support from partners, they gained modern tools and a professional workspace, transforming their lives and giving them purpose.
Life Center Ethiopia hosted a retreat for 61 orphans, focusing on resilience and hope. The event boosted their confidence, helped form friendships, and emphasized their value and potential to impact Ethiopia’s future.
Life Center Ethiopia’s dairy farming initiative empowers 10 widows in Meki City with cows, training, and business support, helping them generate income and secure a better future for their families.
