Life Center Ethiopia Executive Director Mulu Woldetinsae is in Ethiopia, witnessing the remarkable impact of faith and love. Let me share more about it.
Mulu, who resides in the United States and visits Ethiopia twice a year, recently returned to witness the transformative work of Life Center. Her visit served as a powerful testament to God’s faithfulness and the impact of seeds planted in love and faith.

She began her day in the sewing department, where she felt joy and gratitude at the sight of the beautiful creations made by widows empowered through Life Center’s training programs. From intricate designs to skillful embroidery and quilting, the production showcased the remarkable growth and dignity restored to these women.
Mulu then spent time visiting microloan beneficiaries throughout Addis Ababa. She explored bustling small business market stalls and home-based enterprises, witnessing how these women had transformed their lives. Once struggling to support their families, they now spoke with hope and confidence about their futures.

One widow expressed her heartfelt gratitude, saying, “I thank God for His blessings and this opportunity. The microloan changed everything for my children and me. We now have food on the table, and I can send my kids to school. May God bless everyone who made this possible.”
In the afternoon, Mulu joined the orphans in their after-school tutoring program. Sitting among them, she spoke with motherly warmth, encouraging and inspiring them to dream big. The children eagerly shared their stories and dreams, their radiant smiles reflecting the love of Christ that fills their lives.
A Harvest of Hope
Reflecting on her visit, Mulu said, “This is the work of our Lord. He takes the small seeds we plant in faith and multiplies them into a harvest of hope and transformation. To God be all the glory!”
Her journey exemplified 2 Corinthians 9:10: “Now he who supplies seed to the sower and bread for food will also supply and increase your store of seed and will enlarge the harvest of your righteousness.”
Mulu’s visit reminds us that God continues to work through the Life Center family, instilling hope, restoration, and dignity into the lives we serve. Together, let us press on in faith, knowing that our labor in the Lord is never in vain.
We thank God for Mulu’s inspiring visit and for the countless ways He is using each of you to make this mission possible.
