Who We Are

Three programs. One transformation.

We don’t hand out charity. We build pathways — from a child’s first day in school to a graduate launching her own business.

01

What we do

We educate vulnerable children, equip widows with microloans and trade skills, and launch young orphans into businesses they own and run.

02

Why you can trust us

Thirteen years on the ground in Ethiopia, a 98% loan repayment rate across all locations, and full financial transparency — audited, documented, verifiable.

03

Why Monthly

Steady giving changes everything

A child’s education doesn’t happen in a single gift — it happens month after month. Recurring partners are what let us plan, commit, and keep our promises.

Predictability for the children

Steady income means we can guarantee a child’s school year — not just hope for it.

More impact per dollar

Recurring gifts cost far less to raise than one-time campaigns, so more of your money reaches the field.

You become a partner

Monthly partners get the closest view of the work — and the deepest relationship with the lives they change.

Our Story

It began with forgiveness.

Life Center Ethiopia was born when one woman chose to forgive those who had hurt her family — and let that choice reshape her life.

From pain to purpose

Forgiveness became compassion.

That compassion turned outward — toward the orphans and widows the world too easily overlooks.

The work today

Compassion became empowerment.

Today it lives in three programs and thousands of lives — each one a step from vulnerability to independence.

Ten graduates, one storefront, a future they own

When the local government granted commercial space to ten teenage graduates, it proved what a community can build when it believes in its own. Their printing cooperative is now a working business.
